It’s seriously one of the most violating parts of online work: you spend all this time and effort making something or providing a service, and then some jerk gets away with doing a chargeback with their bank, getting a full refund, OF takes the money away from you AND OF doesn’t even shut down their account 😩

How do I protect myself from scammers?
I’ve been scammed before and I am SO proactive about not getting scammed again. Yall I love Spicy Blocklist - it’s a 100% free, creator-made and creator-maintained master list of fans who have been reported for scamming or doing chargebacks. Seriously a beautiful way for creators to keep other creators safe. It has reports for OnlyFans, Fansly, Snapchat, Reddit, etc. (click here to see the list)
Before selling something big to a fan, you can look them up to see if they’ve been reported for scamming another creator before like this:
The master list includes everybody who was reported on r/fetishscammers before the community got banned by Reddit, as well as a bunch of the master google docs that were floating around creator subreddits.
There are thousands of reported fans on the list:
You can search for users who have been reported, or submit your own scam reports!
You can automatically get warned in your DMs if you’re chatting with anybody on this list
Too lazy to manually check every single person you’re talking to? Tbh same lol. So I use the free Chrome extension: it auto-detects if you’re chatting with a scammer that’s been reported by another creator AND it knows if the fan has ever done a chargeback on your account.
You get a warning in the chat inbox, for free!
It shows up as a little popup on OF like this:

Scam protection is a no brainer
(I’m sure there’s a condom pun here somewhere). This list + Chrome extension has saved me MULTIPLE times from chatting with somebody who did a chargeback on me and I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW IT.
It’s absolutely ridiculous that OF doesn’t shut down accounts who request chargebacks - but if they aren’t going to protect creators, at least we can protect ourselves and help each other stay safe 💕.
