Drip chatting: a beginner’s guide

aka how to make $500+ in one conversation

Hi babes 💕 drip chatting has changed my life soo much, I thought I’d make a post about it. I swear by this method + highly recommend trying it out! If you have followup questions, feel free to ask in the comments ✨

If you’re not already familiar, this is the result of drip chatting:

You can make anywhere from $300 to over $1,000 in a single conversation ~

$645 in one sitting!

What exactly is drip chatting?

Drip chatting is a waaaay more profitable form of sexting.

Sexting = you’re charging by the minute, chatting in real time, taking photos/videos for them

Drip chatting = you do NOT charge by the minute, instead you’re talking to a fan with a folder of pre-made content and text templates, locking each photo/video as ppv that gets more and more expensive as the storyline continues.

With sexting, the most you can really make is like, idk $10 per minute but probably less. With drip chatting, you can earn hundreds of dollars in the same amount of time.

Something like this would work:

First photo or voice memo = $0

15s video = $5

20s video = $15

25s video = $25

30s video = $35

35s video = $55

40s video = $75

45s video = $100

You get the idea ^. You can price a bit lower or higher depending on that particular fan’s spending history.

How does drip chatting work?

You’ll need to make 1 vault folder that has a dozen or two dozen photos/videos that follow a storyline, and write out a script of what messages go with each piece of content.

Now, whenever a horny fan says hi, you can reply in a way that funnels them to this storyline. It should be well down, cohesive, and get dirtier as content goes on. This allows you to price your ppvs higher and higher as the story goes on.

Your first piece of content should be extremely easy to segue into. It should be a totally natural and believable response to a guy messaging saying “hey what’s up?”.

How does pricing work?

Pricing is so individual but here are the rules you should keep in mind imo:

  1. The first item needs to be free. This is to get people interested and in the door.

  2. The videos should increase in explicitness, AND increase in price. The increase in price should feel “worth it” but the videos shouldn’t be TOO long. If they’re too long, they might cum too fast (lol)

  3. You should 100% price content depending on the fan’s previous spending history. If a fan has never done a drip chatting folder before, I tend to make the prices start kind of low and increase slowly. (ex: free, $5, $7, $10, $15, $20, $30, etc). If a fan has a large spending history and has done drip chatting folders before, I’ll make the prices a bit higher (ex: free, $10, $20, $30, $50, $75, $90, $150, etc).

How do you organize drip chatting?

I literally have 1 vault folder that encompasses an entire storyline from start to finish. ONE folder per storyline. I use this chrome extension that shows me what media I’ve already sent to a fan (and if they’ve bought it or not), so that I don’t accidentally send someone the same media they’ve already seen. If you don’t use a chrome extension you just have to keep detailed notes to make sure you don’t accidentally resend old stuff they’ve already seen.

What are some noob mistakes / tips from over the years:

  1. ONLY start a drip chatting story if the person you’re talking to is online. If they can’t reply quickly, you’ll waste that first part of your story. Don’t treat it like ppvs, treat it like sexting.

  2. Since guys can sometimes cum too fast / before you finish the story - ask them to not cum until you say so 😇 make them promise.

  3. Cum countdowns do really well as an expensive last video + let them know in the text message that you do a countdown to make it more enticing for them to buy.

  4. Pay attention to details: if a video is 1 minute long, make sure to take at least 1 minute before you reply to the fan. Otherwise it will be logistically impossible that you took that video just now.

  5. As far as the fan is concerned, this is simply sexting but you just aren’t charging by the minute. They don’t need to know what ‘drip chatting’ is. The whole experience should feel totally natural and fluid to them.

  6. I use a chrome extension to message all online fans and online expired fans - this is really helpful for seeing who’s in the mood to talk immediately. It also tells me which content I’ve already sent to a fan. If you decide to not use a chrome extension, keep really detailed notes on which fans have seen which stories already.

It also lets me store written/text templates and send them easily or edit if needed. You don’t NEED to do this but I definitely recommend it, it saves a lot of time and prevents you from making mistakes esp if you’re talking to more than one person at the same time.

  7. I recommend only making one drip chatting folder to start because you’ll learn through trial and error what works / doesn’t work, and you’ll want to implement your learnings into the next folder you make.

  8. DO NOT HAVE WINDOWS IN YOUR PHOTOS/VIDEOS. Otherwise if it’s night time in your content and morning in real life, it’ll be obvious that the content was premade. Don’t say “good morning” or anything related to time at all.

How often can you drip chat with people?

You can only use each storyline once per person, BUT you SHOULD be trying to drip chat every day or at the very least every week. It’s financially worth it! If you use a chrome extension it’s so easy to just message all your online fans once a day. There is no excuse to not be trying to funnel people down a drip chatting story.

I find that the same person will probably not buy expensive drip chats more than 2x/month (esp if they’re $500-$1k) so just keep that in mind.

Any special tips for whales?

  • When you find whales, slowly increase your pricing. You don’t have to charge everybody the same exact amount.

  • If a whale stays subscribed for a few months and goes through all of your storylines, JUST MAKE MORE! Make them based off of his fetishes / things you know he’ll like, and use them for everybody else! It’s worth the time to just make more storylines if you know somebody will buy them.

  • Even though they are whales, I still don’t think they’ll do more than 2 drip chatting sessions in a month. It’s just very expensive lol.

  • Record separate intros for your whales :)

Tips for writing the text templates

  • It should FEEL like a sexting conversation, even though you did a bunch of work ahead of time. It should feel like it’s all happening in real time.

  • My opening message is usually something like “hiii omg it says you’re online rn, are you? 👀” I NEVER waste content on an opening message. Wait until they reply.

  • Even though you’re writing templates, you can/should still slightly customize some of the messages to make sense based on what the fan is saying to you.

  • Sending a bunch of short templates looks more real than sending one long one imo

Storylines I’ve liked

  • I just got home from the gym, can I show you my progress

  • I went shopping earlier and got a bunch of stuff, wanna see?

  • I just pulled into my garage from running errands all day, should we do stuff in the car?

  • Just bored hanging out at home

  • Roommate is gone

  • Got a new toy, super excited to open it - wanna see? (actually show opening it)

What do you do if a fan suddenly requests something specific?

To be honest, this has maybe happened once in the years I’ve been doing this. I genuinely think the trick here is to make your narrative/templates SOOOO engaging and natural that they don’t even have the thought that it might be pre-recorded. Like it doesn’t even occur to them to ask for something specific or ask you to “prove” it’s live. I personally think that if you’re being asked to prove anything, that means either your content, performance, or template is somehow giving vibes that it’s obviously premade.

How do you come up with storylines?

Tbh just have fun :) people subscribed for you, your personality. Do whatever you authentically enjoy. You’ll see with trial and error what works best for your unique persona and audience.

What do you do if fans don’t unlock?

Take it as a learning experience and figure out how to prevent it next time. Did you start the price too high? Was the template too obviously pre written? Was the content not compelling? Did they cum too fast (lol). If they stop unlocking, STOP REPLYING. DO NOT SEND MORE STUFF. If they keep trying to chat without unlocking, I reply to the last locked ppv with “🥺” and that’s it lol.

Good luck out there cuties 💕
