How to make money with livestreams
Hi babes :) you don’t need to have a TON of subscribers to earn a lot on livestreams! These are some tips I have after seeing ~$2k come in from just livestreams, with only 500 subscribers.
You HAVE to market your livestream really well - don’t just count on people showing up without putting in the effort.
on OF:
Treat your livestream like a movie announcement! Like a product launch! At the beginning of the month, announce that you have a livestream coming up. Pin the post on your profile. Be sooo excited about it (I mean, it IS exciting 😇).
Optional: use a poll or ask in your dms to figure out what day/time works best for people. You don’t need to select what has the best votes, just select which date/time has the most votes from HIGH TIPPERS. Yes this takes manual work. But you want your biggest fans to be there to support you and encourage you.
SEND REMINDER MESSAGES. I promise you won’t overdo it, especially if the message comes with a cute photo/video and you’re super excited. I do this one week before the livestream, 3 days before the livestream, the night before, and 1 hour before. Yes, it’s a lot of messages, but I genuinely do not think people care. (I personally 100% recommend sending video clips of you talking rather than having all of the info in text. It’s so much more personable)
on socials:
Post at the beginning of the week saying that you have a livestream coming up
Tease it throughout the week, but really call it out the day before, the day of, and right before it starts. I PROMISE you will not overdo it. So many people post so many things anyways, you will not bother anybody.
The more excited YOU are, the more excited your following will be
Make the livestream interesting by giving it a theme - you have to give people a REASON to show up.
You can do livestreams for holidays (like valentines day, three day weekends, etc) but tbh I think that’s when a lot of people do it? So I think it’s better to just pick a random week where you don’t have as much competition from other people’s streams or sales
Examples of giving people a reason to come / themes
You just got a brand new toy and want to use it together - this can be super fun esp if the toy is unusual or particularly interesting
You want to see how many orgasms you can have in one night - this is extra fun if you’re offering lovense toy control
You want to experience (insert fantasy here) and you really need people’s help doing so - can be literally any kink that makes sense for your page
You want to celebrate (insert life milestone here) and you want them to be there with you to celebrate
You really want to play truth or dare
You’re in the mood to edge for an hour and want company doing so
Design your tip menu carefully
The tip menu should’t be crazy long imo, around 5-8 items is most digestible
You should make sure that there is something inexpensive but fun that anybody can afford. It’s not super good vibes (or good for revenue) for a fan to show up and literally not be able to participate. Vibes wise, I truly in my heart believe that the more people who can interact with you / participate, the deeper your relationship with your fans will be.
However you decide to show it, MAKE SURE ITS LEGIBLE.
In addition to tipping for items, you can have tip GOALS. (ex: $200 goal for me to take my panties off)
$ items
I’ll say your name
I’ll spank myself
I’ll spin the wheel for you (like a game wheel)
I’ll demonstrate something lewd (like sucking a toy, quick flash, something like that)
$$ items
I’ll write your name on my body
I’ll remove a piece of clothing
I’ll demonstrate xyz (fingering self, sitting on dildo, whatever)
$$$ items
You can control my toy
Anything anal (or kink)
I’ll give you a cum countdown
$$$$ items
I’ll say your name while I cum
You can have the exact panties I’m wearing tn
Think sooo authentically about what would make a fan have a great experience
Livestreams are a one of the few ways guys can have real time interactions and actually SEE and HEAR how you are without editing. It’s such a beautiful bonding experience, really lean into that and imagine what would make this a great experience for a viewer. Things like:
Pause and actually chat with fans, call them out by name/username and have little conversations. Ask for other people’s opinions!
When you see fans that you have longer term relationships with, CALL THEM OUT and thank them for joining! It’s not that unsimilar to when I show up at a party and a friend hugs me and is super happy that I came. It feels good to be seen <3
Enjoy yourself <3 when you’re having a wonderful time, other people will have a wonderful time
Think about pacing
Pacing is suuuper important. Sry for being crude but you don’t want people to cum super fast and then leave hahaha. You want there to be a slow build up, deepen the relationship, and then a finale.
When you’re thinking about your pricing, you don’t want the “best things” to be too accessible, otherwise there’s no build up and then what’re you going to do for the remaining hour lolol
When you’re thinking about your own storyline, like how you run the livestream, imagine starting slow. Maybe fully clothed, any stripping is done slowly, lots of chatting, lots of engaging with fans
Decide: do you want to have a free livestream OR a paid private livestream?
I don’t have a strong opinion on this but just want to throw it out there as something to consider:
Option 1 = your livestream is totally free to everybody. More people will show up, but a majority of them will probably be people who don’t tip at all.
Option 2 = your livestream has a fee to enter. Less people will show up, BUT (1) you’ll have already made revenue even though the livestream hasn’t even started yet and (2) in your heart, you’ll know that people don’t get to watch a 1-2 hour show totally for free, without tipping anything. (I’ve done as low as $25 all the way to $100 and both did great!)
Take care of your fans afterwards!
Send a message to everybody who joined, thanking them.
Send a CUSTOM thank you video to the biggest tippers. Seriously when people are generous it’s rly important to show appreciation. They are deciding to spend their hard earned money on u and the more u affirm they appreciate it, the more they’ll appreciate u.
How to monetize the livestream afterwards
Send out a ppv of the livestream + a summary of the craziest things that happened. Make sure to clearly include the length of the livestream, bc that’ll be a selling point.
Post on your profile a recap of what happened ^
Have a ‘livestream menu’ where you have a title + juicy description of all the livestreams you’ve done + how long they are
If you’re NOT making money with livestreams, what might be the issue
You might not have enough fans. If you only have 50 subscribers, it’s very likely that livestreams won’t be a huge money maker yet
Maybe you have a decent amount of fans, but you didn’t get enough people to show up. You might need to market the livestream wayyyy more ahead of time next time and pick a more compelling theme.
People may not feel super connected to you: I don’t think guys want to tip to see strangers do stuff, the whole allure of OF is that you’re this girl they have some kind of connection with. Lean into that!
Happy to hear other pples thoughts too 💕 good luck out there everybody!
